Fiscalization with AZkont.

Every sale ends with a fiscal receipt that is signed on the till and sent to ATK (Administrata Tatimore e Kosovës). This page explains how it works, what the receipt contains and what happens when the internet goes down.

AZkont is electronic fiscal software (SEF) certified by ATK (Administrata Tatimore e Kosovës) on 5 October 2026, developed by Azkont Solutions L.L.C., Prizren, Kosovë.

From «Pay» to ATK.

The cashier closes the sale as usual. The rest happens on its own, instantly when there is internet.

  1. The cashier closes the sale

Items, quantities and the payment method are recorded. Payment can be cash, card, mobile or split.

  2. The receipt is signed on the till

The receipt gets its NUIKF, sequence number and daily number, and is signed on the device before it prints.

  3. It is sent to ATK

Transmission happens at the moment of payment. The receipt’s status shows on the till and in the dashboard.

  4. It prints with a QR code

The customer gets the receipt on paper or electronically, with a QR code for verification.

  5. It shows in the dashboard

The owner sees the status of every receipt, Fiscalized or Pending, without being at the till.

What is on the receipt

When the internet goes down, the till keeps going.

AZkont runs on the device. The internet is needed only to send the receipts, and they are sent automatically when the connection returns.

  1. Online

The sale is fiscalized instantly and the receipt prints with a QR code.

  2. Connection drops (offline)

The till notices on its own and shows it at the top of the screen.

  3. Sales continue (offline)

The receipt prints marked OFFLINE. The cashier does nothing differently.

  4. Sales are stored (offline)

Every sale is saved on the till in an encrypted database, even if the program is closed.

  5. Connection returns

The till sends the receipts to ATK in order, with no intervention.

  6. In sync

The receipts show as fiscalized in the dashboard, with the numbers that were printed.

The dashed line marks the time without internet.

No network connection

Receipts are stored on the till and sent to ATK automatically when the connection returns.

Legal deadline

Receipts issued offline must be submitted to ATK within 48 hours of the connection dropping, under Article 44 of Administrative Instruction (MF) No. 01/2026. This is the business’s duty, so the program warns you when the connection has been down for a long time and asks you to restore it as soon as possible.

Returns, the paper book and closing the day.

Every sale goes through the same steps, online or offline, all the way to the accounting office.
